Our Multi Stage Carpet Cleaning Process

Here at MB Complete Cleaning we only use the best carpet cleaning products and equipment on the professional market today.  Our team uses the hot water extraction process and an array of specialist cleaning chemicals that will leave your carpets clean and sanitised.

Step 1 - Test and Vacuum

If you haven't already Mike Bourne Carpet Cleaning's qualified technicians will vacuum your carpet and preform a strand test.  This will allow our technicians to know the fibres of the carpet or upholstery.

Step 2 - Pre Spray Treatment

Mike's team use professional Prochem carpet cleaning solutions, which are some of the best and most tested on the market.  We use the best pre spray treatment that contains enzymes that break down proteins from the dirt in your carpet, that makes them easier to extract.

This is applied once the room is cleared and vacuumed.  Every care is made to keep the spray off your walls and other furniture.  It can also make hard floors extremely slippery so we do ask that the carpet is not walked on during this process.

Step 3 - Agitation

Once the pre treatment spray has been left for around 15 minutes the team will use a carpet brush to gently agitate the chemicals to penetrate them deeper into the fibres which gives your carpets a deeper clean.

Step 4 - Stain Removal

Certain stains such as tea, coffee, make up, urine etc may need extra stain treatment.   We use specialist products designed for all sorts of carpet mishaps from paint to fake tan.

Step 5 - Extraction

Our Airflex Storm has the same power as a truck mounted carpet machine.  We use the hot water extraction process that gives your carpet a thorough deep clean.

The surface is passed over several times with a cleaning wand to thoroughly rinse out the preconditioner, using an acidic solution to reduce the PH of the carpet fibres back to a neutral state.

Step 6 - Extra Stain Removal & Extraction

If staining still occurs after your carpet clean we have a few options available.  Certain stains such as hair dye or spices actually stain carpet fibres and most times stain removal doesn't work.  In these cases we can look at a repair, where we take a piece of donor carpet and make a seamless repair.
