Steps to deep clean your kitchen!

Here are the steps on how to deep clean a kitchen:

  1. Clear clutter off your counters. This will make it easier to clean and give you space to work.
  2. Empty the dishwasher and the dish drainer and wash the dishes. This will give you a clean slate to work with
  3. Start clearing the cupboard.  Check for out dated and un eaten food and dispose of.
  4. Clean cupboards.  An alkaline or kitchen cleaner will help remove those stuck on bits of food.
  5. Restock cupboards.  For optimum effect face all labels forward and sort into food types and clean small appliances. This includes things like the coffee maker, blender, and toaster.
  6. Dust the tops of the fridge and cabinets. This is often overlooked, but it's important to clean these surfaces regularly.  Grease can often build up quickly.
  7. Clean cabinet fronts.  Buff dry with a window cloth for a streak free finish if required.
  8. Clean anything else that stays out on your counters. This could include things like knives, cutting boards, and utensils.
  9. Clean the stovetop and oven. This is usually a two-step process. First, wipe down the surface with a damp cloth. Then, use a stovetop cleaner to remove any stubborn grease or food residue.
  10. Clean the refrigerator and freezer. This includes wiping down the inside of the fridge and freezer, as well as the shelves and drawers.  If you are going all out why not pull out the appliances and clean behind them.
  11. Clean the sink. This includes the basin, faucet, and disposal.  Remove limescale with an acid or dedicated limescale remover.
  12. Clean the countertops. This includes wiping down the surface with a damp cloth, as well as removing any spills or crumbs.
  13. Clean the kickboards, remove and vac underneath.
  14. Clean the floors. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing the floors.

Once you've completed all of these steps, your kitchen will be clean and fresh!
